Setting Powerful Network Marketing Goals

Set network marketing goals – that’s the key to success.

Or is it?

How. many. times. have you or someone you know started out their goal setting by saying, “I’m going to earn $1,000 this month”?

And they they  – or you – don’t meet that goal?

And what if you use S.M.A.R.T. goals… and you still don’t achieve your network marketing goals.

With S.M.A.R.T. goals you’re definitely on the right track. But I’ve learned something additional lately, that takes goals and makes them even more powerful and achievable!

 

S.M.A.R.T. Goals

In my experience and opinion, goal setting is a waste of time unless those goals are S.M.A.R.T. goals.

This article and this article go into details about S.M.A.R.T. goals, but as a brief overview, S.M.A.R.T. goals are:

Specific

Measurable

Achievable

Relatable, and

Time-Bound

Even Better Network Marketing Goals

Setting solid, achievable network marketing goals takes one more step past S.M.A.R.T. goals, and it’s this:

Set network marketing goals that actually get you places, by focusing on ACTIVITY, not results.

Let me repeat that, it’s so important:

Focus on Activity, not Results


Instead of setting a dollar goal for the month, something you have only partial control over, set an activity goal, such as 5 hours a week dedicated to some aspect of your business.

And if your goals stretch your comfort zone a little, that’s a good sign!
